National School Sport Week Review

The aim of Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week, delivered in partnership with the Youth Sport Trust, is to get more young people doing more sport and learning about the Values of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
National School Sport Week 2011 ran from 27 June to 1 July 2011 and saw more than 4 million young people from across the UK try to set a personal best in an Olympic or Paralympic sport. Schools ran inter-school competitions, held their own opening and closing ceremonies and ran mini torch relays.
This year we also took along the London 2012 Olympic Torch to some events as part of our London 2012 Olympic Torch Tour. Below you can see some of the highlights of a fantastic week of school sport.
