Local Heroes Supporters
The Lloyds TSB Local Heroes Supporters programme enables Lloyds TSB customers to
support young talented athletes in their area.
Lloyds TSB Corporate and Commercial customers can join the Local Heroes
Supporters programme by donating £1,000 to SportsAid.
For each donation, an athlete in the supporting business’ area will be chosen by
SportsAid to join the programme and receive £1,000 grant towards essential
equipment, travel and training costs. And the encouragement, recognition and
moral support they receive is every bit as important in keeping their dream
alive.
Miriam Staley, Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets said: “Lloyds TSB Local Heroes
Supporters enables us to offer more money and more recognition to more athletes.
We’re very pleased that our customers are providing such practical and
meaningful help for Britain’s young sporting champions."
